Commercial Multiengine Pilot & Founder
Prior to founding Shirley, Alex led flight simulation at BETA Technologies and Merlin Labs. A software entrepreneur from a young age, he studied Aerospace Engineering and Computer Science at MIT, receiving his undergraduate and Master's degrees while earning his pilot's license.
Hayley Walters
Sim Pilot & Intern
Hayley is a software development intern and senior at Harvey Mudd College studying Computer Science with an emphasis in Data Science.
Vale Rasmussen
Private Pilot & Intern
Vale is a private pilot and Aero/Astro Engineering student at Stanford University. With prior experience in flight simulation and instruction, Vale assists with development and testing of Shirley's pilot training scenarios.
Sebastien Bolh
Student Pilot & Team Member
Seb worked with Alex on flight simulation at BETA Technologies. He left his program in Mathematics and Computer Science at McGill to pursue life as an entrepreneur.
