Passed my private a few months ago and can confidently say FlyShirley has easily saved me dozens of hours in additional flight training (and thousands of dollars!) and made me a more knowledgeable pilot along the way.
It's not perfect and I encounter bugs now and then. BUT - the owners are super responsive on Discord, answering questions and fixing bugs. I wouldn't say this is a good way to learn your fundamentals - stick with a real flight instructor for that - but if you already have some time and landings under your belt and want to practice sharpening basic skills and procedures I honestly think it's the best money you can spend.

I use it in short and long flights, it is great to have someone to talk with about what is happening in your flight, ask it about the aircrafts and instruments, even questions about the places you are flying around.

The challenges are the key to give a purpose to Shirley and make it super useful. Building live courses or other type of interactive content where you can ask the teacher, is unbelievable good, we never had this before in software history.
Pretty amazing stuff. It will evaluate your performance against ACS standards, position the aircraft, teach maneuvers and even allow you to create your own scenarios (and a lot more)
